My Community Involvement

Community service is an imprortant part of my life. I believe in giving back to the community and volunteering in our Wilton Manors.

I currently serve as Vice President of our Wilton Manors Historical Society. I am the Fundraising Chairperson for our project to restore our oldest building, The WIillingham Carriage House. I am also the Event Creator and Director or our Wilton Manors Scavenger Hunt.

Each year I sponsor a free Document Shredding Event for our residents in Wilton Manors - Click My Services above for more information about our next event.

We have a wonderful Pride Center here in Wilton Manors. I participated in a volunteer event to build the first ever Kaboom Playground at an LGBTQ center!

In honor of Black History Month, Art Gallery 21, in partnership with the City of Wilton Manors and Broward Cultural Division, will present “The Quilts of Gee’s Bend: The Fabric of Their Lives” from February 3 through March 10, 2018. This distinctive exhibit will feature 15 original quilts from the collection of Janet Dolland, advocate of the celebrated Gee’s Bend Quilter’s Collective.

“The Painted Doors Project” pays homage to the Gee’s Bend Quilters thanks to artist George Gadson and our sponsor, Adrienne Foland of Balistreri Real Estate, Wilton Manors.

My wife Amy and I live in the "Downtown" section of Wilton Manors, just off Wilton Drive. I am an active member of CANA - Central Area Neighborhood Association of Wilton Manaors. If you want to know what is going on in our community, feel free to call me!
